The second WESTERN model, a 1/32nd Fosworks R/C & sound version has made the long journey over to the USA. D1003 will join a stable of UK outline steam, so it is quite appropriate that she was turned out in ex. works green livery as built at Swindon in 1962.
The journey was not without incident, and a rough crossing dealt her a blow with a broken buffer before she had turned a wheel in anger State-side. Replacements are being sent, of course.
